Jordy Smith is having a very good year. Of all the surfers on tour, Jordy might be the one who surfs most like the classics. While he does indeed have an air game (remember this?!), where he really shines is when he’s throwing buckets. Jordy Smith is a power surfer, through and through.
Of course, Jordy’s road hasn’t always been the smoothest one, and we’re not just talking that back injury in 2015. The WSL just made a short documentary about Jordy’s life, and like anyone who’s experienced adversity, it makes for very interesting watching.
