There are two things we can always count on Mason Ho for. The first is some amazing surfing, the kind of contortion and creativity and improvisation on a wave that makes you think, “Huh, I’ve never seen that before.” The second is a laugh. Or a lot of laughs. Because Mason Ho is very funny.
To our first point, Mason’s specific bag of talents makes him a perfect candidate for the concept behind Temple of the …Lost Stone. See, most of us would prefer to travel with our own quiver of boards. And when that’s not entirely possible, we improvise. Mason, however, was convinced to make the trek to Indo with nothing in tow other than a promise that he’d be provided with a full quiver of shiny new wave riding toys.
The five-board quiver can be seen in Temple of the …Lost Stone, for those of you interested in knowing about such things. For the rest of you, enjoy a full-length film with Mason Ho, Bruce Irons, and eventually Tom Curren in Indonesia. You’re welcome.
