I dig surf flicks that are a little different. Not different in the contrived “look how unique and artsy I am” way; It’s always easy to sniff those out because they’re just trying too hard.
Beauty & Chaos genuinely feels unique, though. Hell, you have to wait two minutes and 45 seconds before you get to see any surfing, but that’s not a bad thing. Seven minutes sounds like a long time to sit and watch a video on the internet these days because well, it is. This will be seven minutes well spent, though.
