I got the text two days before the weekend that the surf was about to be great. Naturally, we all made the last-minute decision to make the nine-hour drive for the pristine waves the Outer Banks has to offer.
The surfers that came along were all Florida guys, including Nick Groshell, Charlie Current, Brett Newcombe, Jacob Groshell, Rob Crowther, and Daniel Calloway. We ended up scoring amazing surf from dawn to dusk as the waves pumped throughout the Outer Banks.
