The wave at Lahaina Harbor can be pretty fun. But this didn’t look like any fun at all. Pedro Robalinho posted this video to his Facebook page this week of a boat captain somehow losing control of his boat in the harbor, right in the lineup actually, sending surfers paddle-scrambling in all directions.
There were no reports online but several of the commenters noted that there was a fishing tournament during the weekend. Others said the driver may have lost a motor and others commented that he/she was arrested and booked for Boating Under the Influence. We can’t confirm any of that but this is super sketchy, nonetheless.
