If you are a teenager living on Kauai, there’s not much in the way of things to do. It’s a horrible place where young children are forced to learn how to surf and swim and hike and generally enjoy nature. Ryder Guest, a 17-year-old who has lived that hell, has become an extraordinarily good tube-rider. When summer hit Kauai and a very large swell marched towards Indonesia, Guest packed up his things and set out for an Indonesian tube hunt.
