The Inertia

When you were 11-years-old, you were not surfing like Bronson Meidy. I know this because there are no 11-year-olds in the world that surf like him. Meidy grew up at Lakey Peak, and it shows. With an Australian father and an Indonesian mother, the little grommet is fed a strict diet of amazing waves, and he’s growing up to be one of the finest surfers in the world. How are those double-hand stalls? How about that backhand tube riding? Bronson’s on the fast track to surfing for a living, or if he chooses, working a real job and surfing better than pretty much anyone else he’s sharing a lineup with.
