Third Eyeland is a project I started filming over a year ago when the first El Niño Swell reached the island. The goal was to capture some of the insane talent and raw beauty I saw around me. Maui is the main character of this series, but given the goal of the film, this couldn’t be done without giving the island’s biggest star the spotlight. This is Third Eyeland‘s segment dedicated entirely to Pe’ahi.
