The US Open of Surfing is back. Running from July 29 to August 6, the US Open is the world’s largest surf competition and surfers from around the world have gathered to compete. The annual event has been held in Huntington Beach since 1959.
Former CT surfers and up and comers are gathered to compete in the highly anticipated Challenger Series event. As the season is winding down, the stakes are high with Championship Tour qualification on the line. Additionally, the WSL Longboard Tour kicks off at the event, with the world’s best longboarders competing. Food, shopping, and live music, make it a fun event for just about everybody.
