Considering what the Salty Crew does for fun, it’s a well-named group of folks. Sure, surfing is kind of the backbone, but there’s a whole pile of fishing and generally ocean-related things hanging on the rest of the skeleton. Which is why the people at the Salty Crew helm sent Matt Meola, Benji Brand, Kalani Rivero, and Tosh Talbot to Costa Rica.
They threw a bit of a loose itinerary together, and the weapons of choice were surfboards, spear guns, and fishing rods. Then they mixed in a few trophy fish, a pile of beach break tubes, a bit of yellowfin, a bowl of sashimi, and a delicious spoonful of ceviche to round things off. And the dish they came up with sure does look like one hell of a good time.
