Luke Cederman is a funny guy. He, as you likely are aware, runs The Raglan Surf Report, a channel that routinely pans surfing and surfers in general. Cederman ain’t no slouch on a surfboard, either, and one could, depending on their definition of a “pro surfer,” call him a pro.
He makes fun of surfing and surfers, but he does it in a way that doesn’t feel calculated or mean. Most of the time, he’s making fun of the people who’re making fun of people. It’s all a bit meta, if you think about it. It’s easy to look at a pro surfer and think they have the best life ever — getting paid to travel around surfing isn’t a bad way to move through your days, but sometimes, you’ll get the one who just kind of… sucks. That’s who Cederman is making fun of. And we’re here for it.
