In a few short weeks, the North Shore is going to turn into a zoo. The surf world will descend on it like a pack of ravenous wolves, slobbering over clips, clawing into waves, and trying to look as cool as possible at the numerous awards shows. It’s a real scene–one that, for the people who live there, probably sucks a whole lot. But for now, it’s still relatively quiet. The waves are firing, the vibe is good, and the locals are ripping. All is right with the world.
