Fast Flowing Cruiser has been made in collaboration with EVIN beachwear, a “made in Italy” company from Bergamo (1h from Milan). I would say this way, the design is made by EVIN, while we took care about the real handcrafting… we’ve been working together on this since June 2014. The board will be seen at SEEK Berlin this coming July.
The main idea behind this particular design is getting inspired by the classy Riva Aquarama, Italian runaboat from the sixties. This whole project is all about details, high standard material (as Pine & Tree and EVIN as well really care about) to elevate our made in Italy concept around the globe. Some insight facts, we decided to create this cruiser in limited pieces. It was sold out in a week. For this reason we’re working hard to be able to handcraft more cruisers, and Fast Flowing Cruiser will be on sale pretty soon (probably even this coming week). It is a very artisanal work, using inlay technique (as we’re using for everything you can buy at Pine & Tree online store, from boards to key rings) as a core feature.
