We often travel for beauty, to chase waves to the far reaches of the world hidden from our everyday view and are fulfilled by epic sunsets and the bluest waters. But the world isn’t always as picturesque as a postcard, and the more difficult and taxing corners to these exotic locales are often ignored. So to see the other side isn’t to see a side less beautiful, but rather to see the entire picture, gaining a more comprehensive experience and exposure.
The first episode to this inspiring series saw the travelers giving the youth at an orphanage surf lessons while also lending a hand with building projects in and around Baan Santisuk. This second installment takes them to Phuket, a region generally associated with tourism and party. However, this time, happenstance introduced the disastrous effects of a massive flood — to which Ed Worland, Jack Entwistle, and Nick Riley responded by giving their support to the relief effort.
