The Inertia

It was about four years ago that I began to realize my passion for the ocean. While most of my photographic energy was spent shooting only while traveling with my wife, it wasn’t until I started randomly wandering around La Jolla after work in 2010 that I began to really enjoy the ocean and all that it has to offer. Since then, I have been hooked.

Over the past four years, the ocean has been my release. The energy that I get not only from the water, but from the great people that I have met over the years in and out of it, keeps me coming back as often as possible. I have been lucky enough to travel all over Southern California, as well as make trips to the North Shore just to shoot surf. Being able to capture something that I have never been able to in my previous sessions is what makes it worthwhile and what will keep me near the ocean the rest of my life.
