My love for surfing sparked my interest in photography, but it’s the feeling of getting the shot that keeps me going back for the next wave. I always felt a strong connection to nature, so when I’m out there I don’t think about anything except being in the moment and absorbing everything the ocean has to offer. I love to travel all over the world because I feel like getting out of your comfort zone helps you progress as a photographer. However, there is no place like home (Emerald Isle, NC), and I’m grateful to have so much inspiration surrounding me daily. The ocean has taught me many things, but the most important is that the sun always rises and brings a new day and we should embrace and live that day to the fullest.
