The Inertia

Unless you live under a large, soundproof rock that blocks cell phone signal, you’re aware that the Nazaré Tow Surfing Challenge recently sounded the horn. The event was a wild one, as it usually is. Kai Lenny and Lucas Chianca repeated as champions, winning the prestigious event for the second year in a row. Justine Dupont won the women’s performance award. Lenny and Chianca endured a wipeout that might send a normal person packing, and Pedro Scooby surfed a barrel of comic book-sized proportions.

There were a lot of amazing moments, but the World Surf League recently did us all a favor and wrapped them up into one nice little package.
