The Inertia

I don’t know about you, but my mind surfing is always super artsy and overexposed. My air reverses are blown out and my backside barrels have these awesome filters that sometimes move in slo mo, sometimes speed up for enhanced dramatic flare. That’s part of the beauty mind surfing offers. It’s an escape from the small, blown out waves you surfed this morning with a healthy dose of stuff you could never actually pull off in the water (except for the backside barrels. I’m a huge fan of those), all packaged in a pretty little montage that gets you pumped.

Leave it photographer Juan Bacagianis to go above and beyond just throwing an edit together with a bunch of really great surfers. His photos have a hint of “something different” with the colors and the subjects he picks. So it shouldn’t be a surprise his videos stand out the same also. This one makes me think of mind surfing. Heck, it has me mind surfing. So enjoy your little break from reality with Kelly Slater, Mason Ho, Jamie O and a few others.
