When Taj called it quits from tour life, it was a bit of a bummer for surf fans. Contest surf fans, anyway—no one really expected Taj to disappear from surfing altogether, and he certainly didn’t. Instead of surfing for points, he’s surfing for the love of it, and wouldn’t you know it? It’s even better to see him doing this than doing that. Here’s Mr. Burrow in Indonesia on a 54 Special. Because performance is overrated. Fun isn’t.
