Surfing hurricanes and tropical storms on the East Coast is always a wild goose chase. It takes a lot of work to find the right spot to surf, but if you have the buoys and winds dialed, you can almost always find something worthwhile. With the threat of tropical storm Hermine sending us flood waters “higher than Hurricane Sandy,” thousands of weekend warriors evacuated the Jersey Shore in fear of getting stuck in a flood, leaving the line-ups somewhat clean for the boys to find some offshore gold!
