The Superbank is a well-named wave. Of all the words to describe it, “super” is the most fitting. It’s an ever-changing one, too, shifting as it goes from Snapper to the Kirra groin. It can grow as it goes, going from a two-footer at Little Marlies to a four-footer at Greenmount.
“Greenmount is by far the most fun part of the wave,” wrote Raw Surfing on YouTube, “where you get to set it up and then enjoy some serious tube time.”
And on March 1, the Superbank certainly lived up to its name.
