When winter hits the North Shore, it’s a wild place to be. To say nothing of how good the waves get, it’s just a good place to sit and watch surfing. Some of the world’s best live along that stretch of sand, and when the waves get good, you’re more than likely to be sharing the lineup with a handful of surfers who are far better than average.
Imagine for a second that you’re playing basketball at an outdoor court somewhere. You and a few friends are just shooting around, having a good time. Suddenly, LeBron shows up with Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry. It would be weird, right? Well, Rocky Point recently went off, and the lineup was packed with people like John John Florence.
