Morocco has plenty of amazing waves. This, you know. One of the waves that stands out on its wave-rich coastline is Dracula.
An exposed reef break in Central Morocco, Dracula is a fairly consistent wave. And because it’s so good and just a few miles up the coast from Taghazout, that means it can also be fairly crowded. Add strong rips and sharp rocks — think Dracula’s teeth and you’ll get the name of the place — and you’ve got a wave that isn’t the best for someone who’s never surfed before. But on January 26, all was good in that particular part of the world.
“Late afternoon glass turned into strong offshore for the evening session with the decent swell up north on the coastline from Taghazout!” wrote Surf Raw Files on YouTube. “As the last days were windy and messy with a strong current around all the spots, we were happy to finally score some really amazing, clean waves!”
