It’s hard to tell for certain just how much animals enjoy surfing. Sure, it’s clear that dolphins do, but they’re doing it on their own terms. All sorts of animals have been thrown on a surfboard and paddled into waves — dogs, goats, and pigs, to name a few. Cats are generally not the biggest fans of the water. But there’s an exception to every rule, and in Honolulu, Hawaii, a surfing cat named Hokule’a certainly seems to be enjoying himself.
