Lakey Peterson is no stranger to success. She’s had numerous event wins during her ten years on the Championship Tour and has been a serious contender for the world title. She works hard, surfs well, and sets goals to better herself, both personally and in surfing. One of her 2022 goals was to land a no-grab air reverse.
“I didn’t hit that goal, so that will carry on into 2023,” says Peterson. “But I do think I got better at my regular air reverses when I go to grab. So, it goes to show that even if you don’t achieve it, just striving towards it is going to make you better, whether it’s surfing or a different goal.”
