Scotland. A deserved rest at 0 degree Celsius. After spending the entire day in the water having a fire was a necessity. It was really cold and the fire helped us to warm up before entering our tent to sleep with an air temperature of about 0 degree Celsius. Image: Sbrizzi

Scotland. The reason why surfing in the cold is worth it. We checked this wave plenty of times but it was always small, until the last two days of the trip. This nice lefthander use to peel for hundreds meters. That was a memorable day and the only price to pay was swimming in very cold water. However who cares if waves are that good… Image: Sbrizzi
