Surf Happens. We all know this. It happens in one fleeting moment and you’re hooked. Your life will never be the same. This video shows a bunch of grommets in China that are simply experiencing that wonderful stoke that we all remember (and hopefully still foster) for the first time. It’s amazing to see the determination and perseverance (and especially pure joy) on the faces of these stoked little kids.
This video is a feel-good piece. Plain and simple. Hopefully it reminds you of that magical moment when you said to yourself for the first time, “I think I want to catch another one.”

Surf Happens launched their first surf camps in China in partnership with IV Education, English learning center. The kids each took the HIGH5 pledge of “picking up 5 piece of trash every time they go to the beach.” Looking forward to more camps summer 2016 and beyond!
