Australia’s Superbank is a well-named area. It is a bank, and it certainly is super. And on March 1, it lived up to its name.
The Tweed River bellows sand into the ocean, creating Snapper, Greenmount, and Kirra, and when it goes off, every surfer in the vicinity is likely going to try and squeeze into some of the longest rides in the world. On this particular day, Greenmount was barreling about as hard as it can barrel, and there were, surprisingly, nearly enough waves for everyone.
