And now Sterling is back at it with a podcast that ain’t and a half-bad listen. Pinch My Salt, hosted by Sterling and that other guy, referred to as Cousin Ryan, take surfing less seriously. Which is the way it should be taken.
The Pinch podcast hits all of the important cultural surfing touchstones, like Kelly Slater, Laird Hamilton, SUPs, foils and other fringe surfing craft. Sterling has a way of poking fun while having fun. Never one for low blows, he often finds a way to gently make fun of things that need to be made fun of, like a lone centaur, peacefully eating soft grass in a sprawling meadow.
