Florida got hurricane lucky when Dorian steered clear of its coasts. Instead of the destruction seen in the Bahamas, the storm created surf for Florida and gave us an extra-long Labor Day holiday.
Midweek, I photographed the stormy ocean along Daytona Shores. The morning after, conditions were clean giving surfers an all-day celebration of barrels. So Florida has been safe and sound.
Now let’s help the Bahamas recover.
