In the vast sea of Nazaré, the courage of the men that surf there is pushed to the limits. On this day, December 11th, in Portugal, Andrew Cotton showed up and blowed up… as usual. December was a huge month for Nazaré–literally. Cotton’s insane wipeout earlier in the month is one he’ll remember for a long time, a few of the Red Bull team scored some of the biggest and best waves of their lives, and Benjamin Sanchis (along with the Billabong Adventure Division) pretty much cheated death.
