The team at Civic Couch brings us the third installment of “Chasing El Niño.” The “little boy” has been pumping out consistent waves for the last month or so, and all of the local surfers in the South Bay are stoked. This episode features all of the expected barrels that you’ve been seeing from the area as of late, but it also showcases some seriously explosive performance surfing from some of the best surfers in Southern California. This is our third episode in our series “Chasing El Niño” presented by Manhattan Beach Toyota and the Easy Reader. It was filmed during the last half of January, 2016 by Civic Couch. This episode was shot completely in the South Bay cities including Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and El Segundo.
In Chasing El Niño, we document what the El Niño winter means for surfers, our beaches, and surrounding areas. At the end of the surf season we will be combining the best clips for a full length movie.
