Seth Moniz just broke Strider Wasilewski. “That’s a ten in my book,” he said. “If they don’t give him one they can throw them out of the judging booth because this was ridiculous!”
The brain-busting air occurred during his heat at sloppy, nearly unsurfable (for a mere mortal, that is) Huntington Beach. Seth, who one could assume was not exactly enthusiastic about surfing in waves this bad, decided to mix things up a little. In the process, he showed everyone what is actually possible if one is, like Strider called him, “Superman.” Strider, however, may have to storm the judging tower, because Seth only scored himself a measly 9.87.
