In reaction to Slater discontinuing his long time exclusive sponsorship with Quiksilver, I have installed a new piece titled “Slater’s Blank Canvas” in Encinitas.
The piece shows Slater’s blank board, other than a “quik” thank you message, with a recently peeled off Quiksilver sticker on the ground. I couldn’t resist the emotionally hilarious tear jerking video put out by Quiksilver titled “See You in the Lineup” and have released a parody video titled “See You in the Streets.”
