There are many people who think professional surfers are where they are because they work the hardest. Although that statement holds substance and truth, it’s not entirely the case. There’s a big part of that equation missing: photographers. These are the guys that are taking beatings and being thrown onto dry reef to get the one shot that stops you in your tracks, helping further a surfer’s career.
Recently, Imperial Motion caught up with Brent Bielmann – nephew of legendary surf photographer Brian Bielmann – around his home on the North Shore of Oahu, where Brent gives some insight into his typical day-to-day of healthy eating and die-hard training regimens.
