It all started at the end of 2013, when I took pictures with Mathieu Maréchal for a clothing brand from Brittany called Hoalen. He told me about his future trip he wanted to do to Australia – an adventure to discover the east coast, mythical spots, culture and at the end, participate to the Noosa Festival of Surfing. This discussion was quickly echoed in my head and I asked him to accompany him to document his trip.
So we escaped the French winter in early 2014 to enjoy the end of the Australian summer. During a month on the road in a 4×4, we from Sydney to Noosa, through Crescent Head, Byron Bay, and up the Gold Coast to appreciate all the perfect breaks that Australia can offer.
