STWFF_LA_wwwThe Saves The Waves Film Festival is set to visit Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and San Francisco this November.

This annual event – now in its fifth consecutive year – benefits the nonprofit environmental programs of Save The Waves Coalition and World Surfing Reserves.

This year, the festival is heading from coast to coast to before ending back where it all began in San Francisco.

We’ve always known that New York has a thriving and awesome surf community that fits perfectly with its legendary art and music scenes, so we’re honored to bring Save The Waves Film Festival to Brooklyn and Los Angeles this year.

The festival will feature the world premiere of “Se7en Signs” – the newest surfing epic from Taylor Steele and Nathan Myers, along with the world premiere of “Old Dog” (Viejo Perro), a definitive history of surfing in Chile, featuring a rare collection of historic footage dating back to the 1970s woven together with contemporary big wave surfing and legendary stories from Chile’s first surfers.

The complete films program, film festival details and tickets can be found at savethewaves.org
