Sharks and Southern California go hand in hand lately. The last few years there’s been plenty of footage released of surfers and paddlers interacting with great whites. Adam Ernster recently captured this peaceful interaction in Santa Barbara, California where a couple of paddlers get fairly close to a young great white that just seems to be taking it all in. Ernster also captured the footage below. “Instead of being scared of these animals,” he wrote, ‘ordering shark meat or shark fin soup at restaurants, or catching them for sport, why donβt we just appreciate their beauty?”
