This weekend was the best I’ve seen San Diego county in a long time. The swell didn’t really show up until Saturday afternoon, with a fat tide that really had me worrying we might’ve gotten skunked when I first checked the beaches that morning. But as the day went on the swell picked up, the tide dropped out, and the wind pushed more and more offshore.
So I did my best to stray away from the crowds of Blacks and sure enough I scored some shot of empty lineups with double overhead hollow barrels. I told you, this was the best I’ve seen SD county in a long time.
