The video above gives a whole new meaning to the common refrain, “Should’ve been here yesterday.” Recently, Rob Machado pulled his unmistakable van up at the parking lot at Pipes in North County San Diego, and the waves weren’t exactly pumping. But, stoke levels were especially high as Rob passed out two free surfboards to unsuspecting locals. He also left a couple of his new traction pads around the lot like early-season Easter eggs.
Recipients of the free shred sleds were understandably psyched. Like, really psyched. Wouldn’t you be?
