Rob Machado knows that the Seaside and Beyond is a weird surfboard. As the name implies, it’s a stretched-out version of the Seaside model, which is a fishy little quad. In the beginning, he played around with a longer version of the Go Fish, but something just felt… off. When he added a few feet of length to the Seaside, however, his mind was blown. Now, the 7’0 board that isn’t a shortboard and isn’t exactly a mid-length is one of his go-to surfboards. He describes it as living in “that world between a shortboard and a mid-length.”
