Riding shotgun with someone through a barrel will ever get old. Good thing Mikey Brennan is here to take us with him through a normal session (for him, at least) at Shipstern Bluff. This Tasmanian mutant of a wave is known for the steps it creates when it folds over itself once it hits the shallow reef, and here we get to see exactly what it’s like to navigate that nightmare.
Like a tour guide for Tasmania’s most ridiculous wave, Brennan (with a little help from everyone’s favorite selfie-machine, GoPro) takes a walk through one of the world’s most dangerous tubes.
