So I took this ocean shot a couple weeks ago while it was raining (hence the rainbow). I also used a slow shutter speed and a flash. When I saw the shot I was thinking, “What the…How did this happen? Were there shooting stars?”
I thought it may have been caused by the sand on my housing and possibly the reflection of the flash or something. Then I realized it was because I used a slower shutter speed and the rain was caught by the flash – and trailed off. It caused this interesting effect.
I did not Photoshop or alter this shot. I just wanted to share it.
