You can’t understand how good a surf trip to the Maldives is until you’ve experienced it for yourself. Simply put, this place is just incredible.
I had the chance to spend two weeks at Hudhuranfushi Resort and figured I would seize the opportunity to put together a surf clip for my Brazilian swimwear brand. The conditions were just perfect with beautiful, warm weather, consistent swell and of course every surfer’s dream: exclusive access to Lohi’s. It’s a super fun and rippable left-hander sitting right in front of our bungalow, obviously fitting in perfect with the amazing scenery.
Whether you want to improve your surfing, need an excuse to take a “work trip” like I did, or you want a place to unwind with your partner, this is about as good as it gets. It may not be a cheap destination but you’re guaranteed long, fun and uncrowded waves. You can’t put a price on that, so it’s definitely worth every penny.
