The Wedge is one of the greatest places to be a spectator in the surfing world. Part of the reason is that getting a wave at Newport’s finest mutant wave generally ends in disaster… and that’s part of the fun.
The compilation above was filmed from April through October of 2015, when a handful of swells banged into the Wedge and turned it into exactly what we like to see: warping, sandy death pits, with a few wild men getting absolutely demolished.
