My name is Chris Dixon, an empty wave and fine art photographer hailing from Cronulla, New South Wales, Australia. My focus on empty waves started at an early age when I discovered that one of the world’s heaviest and most famed waves, Shark Island, was but a quick stroll away from home. Shortly thereafter, I lined up my photography gear and set out to capture the elegant but also ferocious force of nature. From there, my photography progressed and I’ve been featured in magazines the world over. I take extreme care in creating my work and I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoy creating it.
