Peru has rightfully earned the nickname “Land of the Lefts” because, well, for those so inclined to favor that direction (looking at you goofy-foots) the options are virtually endless. And when we say virtually endless, we mean that two ways. For one, there’s a multitude of surf breaks, and two, many of those places routinely produce waves so long they seemingly have no end.
Several weeks ago, you may recall a considerable jolt of Northern Hemisphere energy that was almost enough to see the Eddie Aikau Invitational run.
Well, turns out that same swell traveled south a few thousand miles lighting up parts of Peru for a little off-season tube fest that looks positively enticing.
