For two weeks in February, Pipeline — and most of the North Shore, for that matter — was absolutely mental. It was a run of swell not seen in years, and those lucky enough to be there for it scored. In those two weeks, there were countless great sets, but after a bit of time has gone by, photographers and filmers like those at Off Da Lip have had a few minutes to pore over the footage and pick out the gems.
One such gem is the three-ish minutes you see here. It’s drone footage of a 14-wave set at 12-15-foot Pipeline. There’s not much to it, but when it is a 14-wave set at 12-15-foot Pipeline… well, you don’t need much more.
