Well, it’s that time of year again. The time of year that North Shore surfers spend all summer waiting for; the time of year that surfers like Makana Pang, Jamie O’Brien, Eli Olson, and more dream about: Pipeline season.
Sure, they may travel the world in search of other waves, but for Pipe regulars, the gem of the North Shore is always in the back of their minds. There’s no place they’d rather be when it’s firing, and recently, it’s been firing.
“The Pipe regulars had a field day this evening,” Off Da Lip wrote on YouTube.
This particular day was big enough to see second reef light up and the lines were stacked to the horizon. A good day for sure, and it’s just the first of many.
