The ending of 2013 brought little waves, terrible weather, and camera issues. As a photographer, you have to learn to work with what you have and when you have it. Over the last summer, I managed to get into the water (before my camera died a little), and start shooting. I didn’t necessarily focus on the size of the waves, or the surfers, but what the actual waves were doing and the way the light emphasized their imperfections. This is a collection of images showing the beauty in what we have, even if it is nothing incredible at first. Enjoy!
